Chromogenic immunohistochemistry

Instruments

To perform immunohistochemical staining, we use an automated staining system (BOND RX, Leica Biosystems).

Immunohistochemistry assays

The Tissue Biomarker Laboratory offers single and double chromogenic staining on formalin-fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue biopsy samples to explore spatial location of defined cells and proteins in the tumor microenvironment.

Immunohistochemistry can also be used to identify cellular events in the tumor tissue and its microenvironment, such as apoptosis.

Our laboratory offers help and expertise in the following applications:

  • Optimization of novel antibodies
  • Application and data acquisition
  • Data and image analysis
